Looking forward to seeing Gavin tomorrow

Well, second Monday in the house and all going well.  We went shopping then did a quick clean of the house.  I spent a whole 5Aud on a new sponge head, that’s under £3.  We will remove it before we leave, I would rather throw it than leave it for Alison.  Talking to Liz who lives next door, Alison is the manager of the property and not the owner and she has been very unhelpful to us and I may have said in a previous post, she refused to supply a new mop head!  We then had lunch and headed for South Beach about 2pm as it is very hot here today, about 33 degrees and hardly any breeze.  It was truly lovely and we swam  twice in the ocean and walked along the beach to dry off.  The second time I was swimming I had loads of little fish, don’t know what they were, swimming around my feet.  After school time,  the beach got busy with teenagers and younger children all enjoying a dip, the photo shows a busy swimming platform which so many people swim out to and dive from.

We came back, showered,  I did a bit of ironing, very quickly as was still hot then sat out the front on the porch to read my book.  I had mentioned to Liz next door I needed a fringe trim and she has arranged for someone who does hairdressing at home to trim it on Thursday, people are so helpful.  She also mentioned she knows loads of people who would like to have reliable house sitters, so we will exchange details before we leave and see what happens.

We are not sure of plans tomorrow as we will wait and see what Gavin wants to do, I expect it will involve a swim in the ocean at some point.  It is so lovely to wake up to beautiful weather each day.
