Four Weeks

It hardly seems possible that we arrived four weeks ago today.  We have done so much and have so much more planned that I think the next four weeks will be busy.

We are looking forward to seeing Gavin on Tuesday after he has been at work for the last two weeks and have lots of places to visit and people to see.

I am pleased to say the wedding music did not keep us awake, think all this fresh air is helping me sleep well.  All quiet today and you would not know such a lovely occasion had taken place.

We headed for our favourite beach and expected it to be busy but there were more cars than usual.  We were surprised to see quite a crowd of families by the rocks, when we got closer we saw two mermaids!  I had read there are going to be mermaids as part of the Coogee Live event next month but these were entertaining children for a party, so cute.  Coogee Live is a free event held in the beach area at Coogee very close to the Freo beaches.

After a swim we walked along the beach and were surprised again to see loads of shells, not seen so many on Freo beaches before and will try and find out why there are so many now, presume the tides brought them in.  Also found a piece of what we believe to be cuttlefish.

I spotted two guys on jet skis quite close to the shore but not going too
fast. As they got closer I saw they had what looked life lifeguard gear on and guess they were patrolling the beaches.  I tried my ‘rashie’ top out while swimming today and it was comfortable and kept me cooler when I came out of the sea and not worry about getting sunburnt.
